We are a full service public outdoor range offering pistol shooting, rifle shooting at 50 yards and 100 yards, shotgun shooting and archery. Our shotgun ranges include pedestal trap, American trap, and 5-stand sporting clays. We also have a patterning board.
Eye and ear protection, ammunition, cleaning supplies, gun cases, and paper targets are available for sale.
We rent eye and ear protection, shoulder pads, Lead Sleds, binoculars, and sand bags. Standard gun rest and spotting scope are provided at no cost.

An important aspect of what makes us so safe is the range itself. Most indoor ranges use steel plates with rubber to stop bullets, sometimes deflecting fragments back to the shooter. While the risk is reduced when the range is long, we feel the traditional backstop does not provide the safest environment for our customers.
Instead, we use a more modern protective system called the Supertrap. This new backstop uses specially cut rubber that effectively stops bullets, even a .50 caliber BMG round.
High-powered rifles and pistols can be fired at even point blank range into the Supertrap without any fragments hitting the shooter. We use the Supertrap to provide the utmost protection for our customers. Our range is also the longest in Waikiki, at a distance of nearly 20 meters.

1000 Yard Range
Tradecraft Range and Training center provides its members with a covered 1000 yard range. The shaded platform is equipped with 8 concrete benches, and steel targets set up in 100-yard increments out to 1000 yards. The range also features an open PRS shooting area with a number of challenging platforms such as tires, simulated roof tops, and barricades.
25 Yard Pistol/Carbine Bays
Tradecraft Range and Training Center has 5 Pistol/Carbine Bays. Each bay is 25 by 25 yards and stores a variety of steel targets, paper target stands and barricades. Members reserve these private bays and are free to SAFELY set up courses of fire as they see fit. Shooters who have been evaluated for safety may draw from the holster, fire from barricades and run movement and shooting drills. Currently all steel targets are PISTOL RATED ONLY, please do not fire rifle caliber rounds at steel targets in any of the 25 yard bays.

We have a wide selection of firearms for rent. These include firearms for all purposes, whether its for personal carry, home defense, or range practice. Our firearm rental fee is $10 plus ammunition, and the firearms are free to exchange if you would like to try others. The only exception to this are the suppressed firearms, those have a rental fee of $25, but like the others, are free to exchange. When renting out firearms, you do have to use our ammunition through them.the list of our firearms for rent.
Opening in the fall of 1984, we are the oldest, continually operating indoor shooting range in Northern Virginia. We have a full service gun shop staffed with experienced and knowledgeable employees. In addition to the gun shop, we have a 25 yard range with 2- 8 lanes bays, all of which are rifle rated. Our range can also handle a wide variety of shotgun shells, ranging from birdshot to slugs. We allow the use of NFA firearms, rapid fire shooting, and drawing from strong-side hip style holster. Our range has 100% fresh, non-recirculated air ventilation system.

Here is what you can expect for your first visit to the range at FREEDOM SHOOTING CENTER:

Stop by an iPAD and sign the Range Waiver.
Bring your government-issued photo ID to the range counter to check-in and tell us a few safe gun-handling practices you learned in the safety video.
During check-in, the associate at the counter will assist you with anything you may need: Rental Firearms, Ammunition, Eye Protection (“Eyes”), Hearing Protection (“Ears”), and Targets. If you have any questions about the range rules, simply ask – we are here to help.
Once completed with check-in, you’re ready to hit the range!
Proceed to your designated lane on the range.
If you have any questions while on range, please do not hesitate to ask a Range Safety Officer in the yellow safety vest.
Once you are finished shooting, exit the range and return to the counter to check out and retrieve your government-issued photo ID.

Every new customer to our facility must go through a brief orientation class prior to shooting at our facility regardless of shooting experience. Must present a valid, unexpired U.S. government-issued photo ID.
Minors under the age of 18 MUST be accompanied by their legal parent or guardian for the first visit and that legal parent or guardian MUST sign the waiver. Follow-up visits can be made with an adult who is not the legal parent or guardian.
Please note that the minimum required age for children to shoot at our facility is 7 years old.
The rental fees are as follows:
$15/hour for a single handgun or $20/hour for two handguns in the same session
$15/hour for a single rifle (.22 LR, 5.56 NATO, .223 Wylde)
$25/hour for a single specialty firearm (.308 WIN, AR pistol)

C2 Shooting Center offers two different styles of ranges for our customers' various needs. One is our West Public Range, which is outdoor and has a covered firing line to protect shooters from the elements. Firearms enthusiasts can practice their skills in an open-air environment at ranges from 7-yards to 300-yards. These ranges cater to beginner, intermediate and advanced shooters who desire to shoot in a less restricted environment than traditionally found in indoor range facilities. Whether checking your zero prior to hunting season, breaking in your new rifle, zeroing a scope on your AR15, working up loads for your custom-scoped rifles, or practicing for an upcoming match, C2 has what you need. Additionally, we have pistol ranges which offer both paper and steel target options. The public range is run professionally based on protocols found in our waiver documents, and participants are expected to operate accordingly. Our range officers are extremely knowledgeable and are always available to assist and lend a helping hand.

Those under 18 MUST be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. You can access our Temporary Guardianship form here. Persons under 21 cannot rent a handgun or purchase ammo for a handgun. This requirement is based on state and federal law and SEG can’t make any exceptions.
Group Options
All of our ranges can be rented for large group activities at affordable hourly weekday and weekend pricing. Private range rentals include exclusive use of all ten lanes and each range can accommodate 30 shooters. A private range is a great way to celebrate a birthday, show staff appreciation, entertain business clients and more. Plus, private range rentals can be scheduled for outside our normal range hours. Advance booking is required.

With twenty, 25 yard shooting positions, accommodating up to .50AE handgun caliber firearms and 12 Gauge shotguns (Ammunition Restrictions), we have long been acknowledged as a safe, knowledgeable and friendly environment for both the experienced and novice shooter.
Through rain, sleet, snow and heat you will find us open. On those days when it is too miserable to be out of doors, our enclosed climate controlled facility is an ideal place to meet others or enjoy the shooting sports on your own. We are open 7 days a week and can accommodate group activities or classes with advance notice. Our requirements to use the range are that all shooters must be 21 years of age or accompanied by someone who is; be or be with someone who is familiar with the firearms being used and an experienced shooter; and, upon entering the range have either their own or rented ear and eye protection.
Blue Ridge Arsenal is a public range. We do not require long term membership to shoot here; but, members enjoy benefits that non-members do not. These include discounts on rental firearms, member only sales, no hourly range fees, free guest passes and range use priority. Plus, if you use the range twice or more a month members save money as compared to shooting at the walk-in hourly rate. And, for those shooters who are looking for that special handgun, don’t own a handgun but enjoy shooting, want to test fire a particular or similar handgun model before buying, or, just want to shoot something different, we have a large selection of rental firearms. Our rental fee for most of these firearms is $12.00 and we require you use our range ammo, purchased at the time of the rental, be or be with someone who is familiar with the operation of similar firearms and 21 years of age or older.
We also offer classes on a group or individual basis, specialized group instruction and a course specifically geared towards the State of Virginia Concealed Firearm Permit. Our NRA certified instructors have instructed scout groups working on their merit badge, novice shooters wanting to perfect their shooting skills, experienced shooters looking to polish up old skills, mystery writers wanting to know how a firearm works and inexperienced shooters wanting to become proficient with their firearm.

The Range
All firing positions on the 200, 100, and 50 yard lines are covered. The 35 yard line down to the target line is covered by a 10,000 square foot roof, built on a reinforced concrete slab. This allows for armored cars or heavy equipment to be positioned on the shooting range during training evolutions. The targets turn on command and can be programmed for a specific course of fire.
Range 82 is open for a variety of shooting options and styles, including:
Tactical shooting scenarios
Vehicle based shooting platforms
Sport shooting (IPSC, IDPA)
Black powder
Air gun (Located off range on facility)
Archery (Located off range on facility)
Note that fully automatic fire is only available to our law enforcement/commercial clients.

The Marksman offers a clean, safe shooting environment for handguns and small bore rifles. We offer (8) eight Caswell academy style lanes and a ScanCo HEPA filtered air system. Bring your family and friends to The Marksman for an enjoyable outing.
If you only shoot a few times a year, then hourly range use is the way to go. We charge $14.00 per person per hour if you purchase our ammunition and $16.00 per person per hour if you use your ammunition. (Note - range fee is $16.00 per hour for qualifying) You are limited to one hour if the range is busy, if it is slow, shoot as long as you like. Shooters are allowed to bring their own ammunition, as long as it is not steel cored (if a magnet sticks to it, we will not let you use it) and no tracer rounds. We do ask that you buy our targets. If you do not have eye & ear protection, it is available for rental.

The shooting range at Lynchburg Arms is a state-of-the-art, military-style, 25 yard indoor shooting range which can handle any caliber up to and including a .460 Weatherby Magnum. For safety, shotguns and muzzle loaders are not permitted.
The indoor range is an air-sealed chamber with five lanes looking 25 yards down-range, to where a sophisticated backstop gives way to a gap that traps bullets and deposits them into a mesh tray for easy recycling.
Hand Gun and Rifle Rentals are $10 per firearm with just $15 for unlimited rentals. We currently have about 30 guns, so try as many as you want. For your safety we only allow two firearms per lane and for the integrity of the rental firearm you must purchase a box of manufacturer grade ammunition per gun rental.
Range fees are $12 per hour for a single shooter, single lane or $22 per hour for two shooters in the same single lane.
For the comfort and health of our shooters the gun range is heated and air conditioned with an oil-and-water mixture which clears the air of lead dust. An intake system keeps fresh air circulating.
