This course focuses on the laws governing concealed carry in Virginia to include Justifiable Force and Individual Protective Rights. Our instructors also provide you with a complete overview of the basics of managing unknown contact, basic shooting skills, situational awareness, and equipment/clothing considerations. This course meets the Virginia state requirements and includes classroom instruction and live fire range drills. The course is taught by a Nationally Certified instructor. The Concealed Handgun Permit Course will give you the foundation you need to understand your rights, Virginia law and the basic responsibilities of carrying a concealed handgun.

Description:
This eight-hour course, designed for civilians, will focus on the basics of dynamic entry and its relationship with the clearing of rooms and confined spaces. From one-man entries and clearance, necessary to protect your home, to multi-person dynamic room entries needed in more extreme scenarios, you will progress quickly by utilizing our building block approach. Focus on irregular shaped rooms, center-fed and corner-fed rooms, hallways and intersections and movement through open spaces will provide the base skills needed to prevail in close contact and confined situations.
Drawn from proven military tactics, this course will teach you to identify and prioritize threats and determine the appropriate use of force while maintaining situational awareness and security. Course attendees will be placed in scenario-based evolutions designed to require the use of the techniques learned and apply them in a stress induced atmosphere.

All of our ranges can be rented for large group activities at affordable hourly weekday and weekend pricing. Private range rentals include exclusive use of all ten lanes and each range can accommodate 30 shooters. A private range is a great way to celebrate a birthday, show staff appreciation, entertain business clients and more. Plus, private range rentals can be scheduled for outside our normal range hours. Advance booking is required.
