When renting our firearms, you are renting the caliber. This gives our guests the opportunity to “Try Before You Buy” and switch out firearms freely within the same caliber and type without any additional costs. For example, a customer may rent the 9mm caliber, start off with the Glock 19 and switch to the Sig Sauer P226 without any additional costs. Customers love this aspect because they get to try as many firearms as they wish within the caliber they rented, allowing them to discover the firearm that best suits their needs. Keep in mind that when renting our firearms, you must purchase our ammunition.
Range
One of the largest indoor ranges in the country in Phase I, Triangle Shooting Academy is poised to become even larger when Phase II is completed. Currently, we have 33 lanes, all of which are 25 yards long. And Phase II will expand our facility by seven, 100-yard indoor lanes.
Our target carriers are the same used at the NRA range in Washington, DC. These carriers are state of the art, 360 degrees turning high-speed targeting systems. Special soundproofing has been added to ensure a good experience. Bulletproof glass and doors with a concrete ceiling ensure that no rounds can escape the range.

With 14 indoor lanes, each stretching 25 yards, you are welcome to shoot your handguns, shotguns, and rifles here. A wide variety of firearms (including full auto and suppressed) are also available for rent.
The lanes are separated into two range bays. The first is reserved for standard pistol target shooting practice and has six fixed firing point lanes each with electronically controlled rail-based target retrieval systems. The second bay, with eight lanes, is equipped for tactical shooting practice and training. Here, the stalls are equipped with advanced tactical, fully automated, computer-controlled, 360° full turning target retrieval systems. The stalls in both bays are separated by clear ballistic glass for optimum instructor viewing.

At Jefferson Indoor Range, we specialize in all of your shooting and firearms needs. Whether it’s trying out a new firearm as a hobby or for self defense; pistol rental for a day of shooting; full-automatic or semi-automatic package rental; or just target shooting for fun, we can assist you.
Our facility is open seven (7) days a week. Monday thru Saturday 10am to 8pm and Sunday 11am to 6pm.
The shooting range consists of fourteen (14) firing lanes and is 25 yards in length.

Our outdoor shooting range is the only one in the area, so we keep it open throughout the year
Our outdoor shooting range has plenty of space with two separate areas of covered firing points. Each point is furnished with a heavy duty bench for sighting in or target practice. Test your accuracy with target placements up to 100 yards. We welcome pistol, rifle, shotgun, smallbore, and black powder shooting. NEW! We now offer shooting prone at 50- and 100-yards.
You can also enjoy our shotgun field with open space to set up foot traps or hand throw clay birds for shotgun practice. Shooters from ages 9-16 are welcome on the range, but must be accompanied by an adult. A range officer is on duty at all times.

200 Yard Rifle Range:
We are proud to offer the public a top end rifle range that extends out to 200 yards. This range is included in our yearly memberships and $15 a day for non-members.
Pistol Range:
Our pistol range extends out to 50 yards. It is included in our memberships and $15 a day for non-members.
Precision Rifle Range:
LAC Range has just built a 500 yard rifle range. This range is not included in the memberships and an extra charge to the standard range costs.
5 Stand Trap:
Five stand target shooting (includes clays) is separate charge for use, not included in range membership. Members price per use $8 (25 clay targets per use) Non-Members $10 (25 targets per use).

We have a seven lane; 25-yard range. The river silt berm can accommodate for pistol, rifle, or shotgun shooting. We can even shoot 50BMG! Only one caliber restriction regarding shotguns: no shot size smaller than #6 shot. Buckshot - #6 is permitted.

At our Hendersonville location, we have a 15 lane standard range operating on an electric retrieval system. The range is 35 feet long, climate controlled and filtrated.
Non-Member range rates: $15 per shooter for the range, includes 1 target and your shooting time is unrestricted!*Range fee increased as of 2017. We are currently upgrading our range in stages for an even better shooting and training experience.
Allowed Calibers: All handgun calibers are allowed (including magnums). Rifles in pistol caliber are also allowed.
Hearing and Eye protection are furnished for range customers.
We also have gun rentals that are $10 each to rent.
Targets will be $1.00 but you are welcome to bring your own.
You do not have to purchase ammo from us to use our range.
The range is first come, first serve.
The range is always open during store hours. Typically we do not have classes at this store, however to meet demand and to offer a more convenient option for students there are times when the part of the range will be in use for handgun classes. More often than not all lanes are open on the weekend.
At both locations we have a varying array of firearms available to rent. This offers our customers a chance to try a particular caliber or specific model of firearm when deciding on a purchase. (Rental firearm models vary at both locations.)
