WHAT IS THE CLASS ABOUT

This is a 2-hour, live-fire class that introduces the new shooter to the safe operation of a pistol.

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

Understand and abide by the Range Safety Brief.
Understand the function of your pistol and safely operate it.
Learn and apply the 7 Fundamentals of Marksmanship.
Safely maintain consecutive repeatable rounds to the torso of a target.
Safely perform magazine reloads from the deck.

If you have owned your AR for a while but never received professional training on this platform, this is where you start down the path to competency with the AR platform. We will build a solid foundation for all of your rifle training.

The shooter that has owned an AR Rifle for a while now but wants some real training.

WHAT IS THE CLASS ABOUT

A two-hour live fire class that introduces safe and proper shooting techniques to the AR platform.

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

The student will be able to understand and abide by the Range Safety Brief.

The student will be able to understand the function of the AR platform and how to safely operate it.

The student will be able to understand the 7 Fundamentals of Marksmanship and safely apply them to the AR Platform.

The student will be able to configure their firearm for maximum effectiveness and efficiency.

The student will be able to sight in their rifle.

The student will be able to perform mag changes from the deck.

Must have:

WHAT TO BRING

Your rifle, 3 magazines, mag pouch, 100 rounds of ammo

Eye and Ear Protection (If owned)

Pen or Pencil, Paper

This is the next step down the path to mastering the AR platform. We will be building on your skills learned in AR 1 and adding in mag changes from the gear on your body and learning Immediate Action Drills for when your gun goes down.

WHAT IS THE CLASS ABOUT

This is a 2 hour live fire class that refines the shooter’s ability with the AR Platform

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

The student will be able to understand the additional gear needed to effectively engage targets with the AR platform.

The student will be able to effectively engage targets at varying distances from the low ready.

The student will be able to perform Mag changes from mag pouches on the student’s body.

The student will be able to perform Immediate Action Drills when necessary.

Pistol Basics class is a hands-on course with one of our expert instructors designed to help you make the right decision when deciding on which handgun and accessories to buy.

Students will get the guidance and expert advice they need so they can feel comfortable with the selection process.
WHO IS THIS CLASS FOR?

Anyone who would like expert advice on which firearm and accessories are the best fit for them.
Anyone who wants to learn range etiquette and become more confident and comfortable shooting on the range.

4. OPERATION BASICS

Can I handle the recoil? Can I operate this gun? Can I load the magazines? Can I operate and load this firearm in a hurry if I need too?

5. Hands-On Experience – We will provide several guns to handle. (examples)

Glock 19, Smith and Wesson M&P C/full ,Smith and Wesson shield EZ, SIG Sauer P320, CZ p - 10c, Walther PPQ / H&K VP9
*Smaller options if you’re looking for concealed carry. Other options such as competition, target shooting, etc.

6. PRACTICAL EXERCISE

Students will experience shooting different types of guns
Students will select and write down their top choices
