SYNOPSIS:
Training to comply with the State of Florida requirement to obtain a concealed carry license. The training will cover the aspect of individual responsibility while carrying a firearm in a concealed way, as well as the legal implications of using the firearm.
We will cover specific regulations and laws of the state of Florida.
METHODOLOGIES
This course involves classroom lectures and live fire drills to demonstrate shooting and safety skills.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
The course is not an introductory shooting class. Students should be able to have basic knowledge in the operation of their handgun in a safe way. Student should be 18 or older. To learn more about our Introduction to Handgun course, click here.

100% Attendance. Successfully complete all practical exercises
Must have:
30 ammunition rounds
A 9 mm Handgun, eye and year protection is included in the course fee however;
-Students are STRONGLY encouraged to bring and shoot their own handgun.

Introduction to the use of your firearm. The class is for current Concealed Carry License holders that would like to improve their confidence while using a firearm by enhancing safety and manipulation skills and, to those who are seeking to get concealed carry permit.
This class qualifies for a concealed carry application.

Firearm terminology
Gear, Gadgets, Magazines and Different Types of ammo and the use of each one
Concealment Holsters / Carry Options
Body and mind response to a stressful situation
Dominant eye explanation
Precise Sight Alignment
Fundamentals of handgun shooting: Shooting stands, griping, sight alignment, sight picture, trigger manipulation, and control
Five fundamentals of pistol shooting: aiming, breath control, hold control, trigger control, and follow-through
Distinct Carry option
Various Drawing Techniques- Including from concealment
Magazine Change and clearing, malfunctions
Gun cleaning and maintenance
This course employs classroom lectures and discussions, demonstrations, live shooting drills.
Must have:
STUDENTS MUST BRING WITH THEM
Appropriate training attire (No open shirts or tank-top) Closed toe shoes
A cover shirt with front buttons for conceal training
Robust Belt to carry the weight of the gun and magazines.
Eye & ear protection
Pistol + 3 magazines
Fitting Holster
Magazine pouch for two magazines
350 pistol rounds
If you are unable to bring the above, please let us know we will provide eye and year protection and a 9 mm handgun.

1000 Yard Range
Tradecraft Range and Training center provides its members with a covered 1000 yard range. The shaded platform is equipped with 8 concrete benches, and steel targets set up in 100-yard increments out to 1000 yards. The range also features an open PRS shooting area with a number of challenging platforms such as tires, simulated roof tops, and barricades.
25 Yard Pistol/Carbine Bays
Tradecraft Range and Training Center has 5 Pistol/Carbine Bays. Each bay is 25 by 25 yards and stores a variety of steel targets, paper target stands and barricades. Members reserve these private bays and are free to SAFELY set up courses of fire as they see fit. Shooters who have been evaluated for safety may draw from the holster, fire from barricades and run movement and shooting drills. Currently all steel targets are PISTOL RATED ONLY, please do not fire rifle caliber rounds at steel targets in any of the 25 yard bays.

Family Pistol - Monthly Membership Our Family Pistol Membership provides access to: 25 yard private pistol/carbine bays (pistols only on steel targets). It’s intended for two related adults and two minors. All family members must attend the same orientation to avoid additional admin fees. No one under the age of 18 is permitted without the supervision of a parent or legal guardian. Must be a minimum of 12 years old to participate. ONE TIME ADMIN FEE OF $25 DUE AT FIRST VISIT.
Precision Marksman - Monthly Membership Our Precision Marksman membership provides access to: Covered 1000 yard rifle lanes 25 yard private pistol/carbine bays (pistols only on steel targets). Must Be 18 years old to hold a membership ONE TIME ADMIN FEE OF $25 DUE AT FIRST VISIT.
