Come see us and take the Arkansas State approved Concealed Handgun Carry License course to learn the Laws of Arkansas. Please do not be fooled by the out of state CHCL programs you have heard about. Some states do not honor out of state resident permits so you will not be learning the laws required in Arkansas.

We schedule our concealed carry class at our range every Wednesday & Saturday starting at 9am. Please be here at 8:30am to process your paperwork for the class. The class lasts approximately 5 hours so please be prepared to stay this long. We can hold special courses for groups of 6 or more, please contact us for details.

Description:

This is the prerequisite course for an application to obtain an NC Concealed Carry Handgun permit. The course is 8 hours of classroom training, followed by a written test, then a shooting qualification on the firing range. The qualification consists of 10 shots at 3 yards, 15 shots at 5 yards, and 15 shots at 7 yards. After successful completion of the course, students will be able to apply for their NC CCH permit with their respective sheriff departments.

Successful completion of the course, and subsequently receiving a CCH Certificate, requires that you pass the firearms and written exams.

This course is not intended for novice shooters and does not include the training in order to pass the range qualification. Taking this course assumes you already have the skills and experience to safely handle, use, and manipulate handguns. If you don’t have those skills, please consider taking a Private Instruction or Basic Handgun course before taking this qualification course.

You’re welcome to bring your personal firearm to this class. If you will be renting a firearm, we have a supply of 9mm Glock handguns to rent for this class.

Concealed Carry Training Courses are taught at the range in Warren County. It is taught on weekends and is a one day class from 8 a.m.–5 p.m., plus range qualification. Weekday classes are available by request and has a minimum of 5 for attendance.

You must be able to safely load, unload, and shoot on your own. If not, we offer a Basic Pistol Course that will prepare you for the Conceal Carry Handgun Course.

Our Concealed Carry Course meets the standards as set forth by the North Carolina Administrative Code.

The Concealed Carry/Basic Pistol Class consists of three parts: Basic Pistol Instruction, Concealed Carry Instruction, and Live-Fire Range Qualification. All three parts are completed in one nine-hour Saturday Course. Upon completion of class requirements, your instructor will issue an official Shooters’ Club Training Certificate suitable for framing.
