Our concealed weapons or firearms license class runs approximately 3 hours, and satisfies the training requirement of FS 790.06 to apply for your Concealed Weapons or Firearms License. You may sign up at OTS or you may use Sign-Up Genius through our website. The cost is only $55 (plus tax) and includes targets, eye protection/ear protection, and range time. Space is limited to twenty students. You may bring your own firearm/ammunition. If you do not have your own firearm, OTS has a wide selection of pistols and revolvers for rent (requires the use of OTS ammunition). Students enrolled in our Concealed Carry Class will learn the basics of firearm safety, marksmanship and concealed carry techniques. Participants will study applicable laws and gun safety techniques. This course will finish with a 10 round shooting diagnostic. All graduates who demonstrate safe gun handling will receive a State Qualified training certificate for the application of a 37 state Concealed Carry Permit.

This class meets the standards set forth by the State of Florida for issuance of a Concealed Carry License. This is NOT a fundamentals class. The Shooting Center DOES offer a handgun fundamentals concealed carry class that provides both fundamentals instruction AND concealed carry certification.

Must have:

Gun, ear protection, eye protection (all of which can be rented at the range), Ammunition -- 50 rounds (which can also be purchased at the range). You will shoot a minimum of 20 rounds to qualify, depending on proficiency.

This 4-hour class is for those students that wish to understand basic pistol operations, the fundamentals of shooting and puts those principles into action in both a classroom and range setting, in addition, this class provides the student the legal requirement to attain your Florida Concealed Weapons Permit all in the same session.

This is the perfect introduction for anyone that is serious about caring for, carrying and understanding your weapon system from start to competent. Training is the key.

This class is taught by both former and current law enforcement officers along with military combat veterans. All of which are certified NRA instructors.

We offer a comprehensive 5 hour personal protection training class that exceeds the minimum Florida training requirements for a concealed weapons license. Our firearms instructor is certified as both a law enforcement and security officer through the state of Florida. The training that you receive at The Gun Shop will include:

This is a 4 hour class and is required by law for acquiring a concealed firearm permit (CFP) in Utah. There are approximately 3 hours of class instruction followed by one hour of shooting. Students must provide both a semi-auto and revolver handgun, plus 15 rounds of ammunition for each gun. (Guns may be rented for $5 per gun which includes ammo during the class.) Cost for this class is $45.00 per student which includes fingerprinting and passport photos.Cost includes application certification for CFP, fingerprint card and passport photo. The CFP is an additional cost of $53.25. This fee is paid to the State of Utah.

This is the required training to obtain a Utah Concealed Firearm Permit. You will leave with an application, signed and stamped by the certified instructor, to turn into the state to apply for your permit.

We offer CCW courses for residents in North Carolina. These classes provide the experienced shooter with the state-mandated information and qualifications to legally concealed carry their firearm nearly anywhere in North Carolina.

The course cost $149.99 and are available from our Charlotte, NC, location throughout the year. Each class lasts nine hours, which is divided into:

Eight hours of classroom instruction, which is composed of a review of self-defense laws and North Carolina concealed carry laws
A 30-minute lunch break
Live fire qualifications on the range, where you'll fire 50 rounds from 3, 5, 7 and 9 yards

We supply nearly all the equipment you'll need at the range, so you'll be fully prepared to take the class even if you don't yet have your own firearm or enough ammunition. Provided items include:

A firearm, although we encourage you to bring your own handgun and ammunition if possible, to ensure you are comfortable with the firearm you plan to carry

The course starts at 9:00am, the first video is an hour long and covers handgun safety, parts of handguns, cycle of operation and the fundamentals of good shooting. A short break will be given and the second video will be shown. The second video demonstrates how to be aware of your surroundings and to have a plan for you and your family if there is an intruder in your home. A lunch break is given from 12:00pm to 1:00pm. The lecture portion of the class starts at 1pm.

The lecture portion of the course continues to 6:00 pm. The material covered in the video portion is reviewed, questions answered, different scenarios are presented, the laws governing the use of deadly force are explained, and advice on practicing, concealment, and firearm care are given.

Must have:

The attendee may use his or her own firearm and ammunition or rent a handgun from us and purchase our ammunition. All gun rentals are $10 with ammunition ranging from $5 to $40 for 50 rounds.

This class includes: Legal Issues, Handguns, Handgun Safety, Marksmanship Fundamentals, Carrying Concealed Safety Issues, Presentation Techniques (Drawing the Handgun), Cleaning and Maintenance, Ammunition, Proficiency Drills N.C. Justice Academy CCH Training Manual, Handouts... Mandatory Range Qualifications are scheduled on an individual basis. The classroom section of your CCH class is set from 9:00AM to 6:00PM and the shooting qualification is at 8:00 the morning of the training. (unless you choose to take the "Coach to Qualify" option see below)

Regular CCH Class: If you are a proficient shooter than this is the class for you. You will be required to load, unload and handle your firearm in a safe manner in accordance to our range rules. If you do not feel comfortable doing that in a group, then please consider our Coach to Qualify option
