This course is designed for proficient shooters who want to apply for a Florida Concealed Weapons License.
CURRICULUM OVERVIEW
This course is designed to meet the current Florida requirements to allow students to obtain a Concealed Weapons License. The course is designed for students with prior handgun experience; its emphasis is on how the legal system effects those who chose to exercise their right to self-defense. The class does not involve firearms training. Students are expected to be able to safely and proficiently shoot a handgun.

CURRICULUM OVERVIEW
Curriculum covers the fundamentals of shooting, safe gun handling techniques, and reviews some of the legal aspects of carrying a concealed firearm in the state of Florida. Completion of this course satisfies the competency requirements necessary to obtain a concealed weapons license under Florida law.

• Revolver parts and operation
• Semi-Automatic parts and operation
• Choosing the correct ammunition for your firearm
• Shooting fundamentals

Defense in low light environments involves unique considerations such as understanding illumination, choosing the correct light, and developing shooting techniques that incorporate light activation and control. This course is designed for armed citizens interested in increasing their effectiveness inside and outside the home. Our Low Light Techniques class is conducted on an indoor range where the environment can be controlled and covers weapons mounted and handheld illumination techniques.
Must have:
A good quality, high capacity semi – automatic handgun
At least 3 magazines
Weapons mounted light
Ejection molded/Kydex light bearing holster
Magazine pouch
Handheld tactical flashlight (i.e. Streamlight, Surefire, etc.)
300-400 rounds of reliable target ammunition (no steel core)
Eye and ear protection
PLEASE WEAR APPROPRIATE CLOTHING FOR SHOOTING!!!

Our state-of-the-art range is equipped with 19 handgun lanes downstairs that are always open to the public on a first come first serve basis. Memberships are available.
Please note: You may bring your own targets and ammunition with the exception of reloaded ammunition, tracers, incendiary, armor piercing, and steel core ammunition. Pistol calibers up to .44 magnum are allowed on the downstairs range, rifle calibers up to .30-06 on the Presidential range (requires Membership)
