Instructors Mike Miller and John Rusyn, bring decades of use of a carbine as both a defensive and offensive weapons system and a great amount of teaching its use to others.
The goal is to teach tactics learned from multiple combat deployments and decades of SWAT/Tactical Team use of a Carbine as weapon from just past arms reach through 300 yards. Quick, accurate and repeatable accuracy will be strived for. The blending of SWAT and Military Tactics is ideal for today’s shooter to get the best of both worlds. The Instructors teach a system that works with Pistol, rifle and shotgun.
Students will work with the system hitting static targets from various positions. Establish repeatable shooting positions and learn to handle their weapon system under field like conditions while managing their weapons system and ammo. Movement and transition drills may be included. Also, to be covered is gear selection and maintenance of the system. The course will offer a chance to obtain a zero while discussing the advantages and disadvantages of various zero distances. Fundamentals of loading, reloads and safe operations will be stressed.
