Course Description: This is the required classroom and range instruction for the South Dakota Enhanced Concealed Carry Permit. The class will include personal protection plans, South Dakota Codified Law, and defensive shooting skills. The Conceal Carry Permit application process will be discussed.

This is not a beginner course. You are expected to be proficient with the handgun you bring to class and able to load/shoot 100 rounds in about 30 minutes. Semi-auto handguns and double action revolvers are preferred.

Range time may be rented before the course date for practice. If you feel you may need instruction prior to the course, we have private lessons and an Introduction to Handgun course available.

Equipment/ Rounds Needed: Firearm and a minimum of 100 rounds of ammunition. Crew neck t-shirts, closed toe shoes, eye and ear protection are required for the shooting portion. Ammunition and eye/ear protection may be purchased in store the day of the course.

Description:

The Utah permit, when issued, offers the concealed firearm carrier approximately 30 more states worth of reciprocity. The course is conducted entirely in a classroom format and discusses Utah law, interacting with law enforcement, transportation and safety storage of firearms. Students must have a home-state issued concealed pistol license prior to Utah BCI issuing the permit, but may take the class while waiting for their WA permit to arrive.

This is an eight (8) hour class, and you will need 100 rounds of ammunition.



If your CHCL is not expired or being renewed, the State will charge $15.00 fee to print the updated card.



If you are renewing a previous license, and taking the Enhanced CHCL class, cost will be $100.00 for the class, PLUS the online State renewal fee. By renewing your license, the State will not charge the $15.00 fee for an updated card.



You may take the Enhanced CHCL class up to six months before, or six months after your license expires. If your license is more than six months expired, you must take both the regular CHCL and the enhanced CHCL in order to acquire an enhanced permit.

When: Course is usually held every other Saturday of each month… Call to reserve a spot!
Time: Courses start at 7:00 a.m. and end at approximately 1:30 p.m.

Cost: $110 per student. Pre-enrollment is required with a minimum $35 non-refundable deposit with the balance of $75 due the morning of the course.

Our concealed handgun course is held at our Indoor Shooting Range where weather is never a factor. We make our courses as fun as possible while giving our students all the proper information needed to be a responsible, defensive firearm carrying citizen.

Our instructors are NRA and Arkansas State Police Certified. They are licensed, well-trained and well-versed in order to provide our students with the most up-to-date information needed to obtain their concealed handgun license. Your license will be good for 5 years.

Notice: Federal and State laws prohibits any person currently under restraining order, currently under any felony indictment, has any felony convictions or any convictions for the misdemeanor act of domestic violence from participating in the concealed handgun course and for receiving the Arkansas Concealed Handgun License.

Class Prerequisites: Each Student must be 21 and have a minimum residency of Ninety (90) days. Military personnel must have PCS orders. (Personnel on TDY orders DO NOT QUALIFY).

We recommend bringing a semi-automatic pistol for qualification so you may receive the “Unrestricted" license rather than the “Restricted” (revolvers only) license. (If you do not own semi-auto pistol, they can be rented at a cost of $5 plus the cost of ammo).

Hearing and eye protection are mandatory, both are furnished. Targets are also provided. Ammunition is not furnished. You may purchase it at the range prior to the course if needed.

Illinois Conceal Carry Instruction
Our Conceal Carry Class is presented by our United States Conceal Carry Association

Certified Instructors(USCCA). As required by the State of Illinois, the 16 hour class is

divided into two(2) days, of 8 hours each.

The classes are divided into Phase 1 and Phase 2. To receive the maximum training

experience the classes are intended be taken in order. You will be required to take one

of each class.

USCCA Phase 1: In phase 1 we will discuss;

Developing a Home and Personal Protection Plan
Self-defense Firearm Basics
Defensive Shooting Fundamentals
Proper operation and ammunition
Safety, Safety, Safety
We will provide you with everything required

to complete this Phase 1 class. If you have your own eye and ear protection please feel

free to bring them with you, if not we will supply them. There will be up to 4+ hours of

gun handling exercises and live fire shooting in the range in Phase 1. You will be trained

using a variety of 9mm handguns. You may find it helpful to bring a notebook and writing

instrument for note taking. Snacks/refreshments are allowed in class and there will be a

lunch period. Phase 1 is also an excellent stand alone class designed to teach/refresh firearm safety,

firearm handling, firearm actions and ammunition and much more.

In Phase 2 there will be a shooting session requiring you

to supply you own firearm approved by the State of Illinois (any handgun designed to be

shot with one hand fits the state requirement) as a conceal carry firearm. You may rent

a firearm from our gun shop at a rate of $12.00 plus the cost of ammunition. You will be

required to take 30 shots in Phase 2, we suggest you bring extra ammunition. Most

ammunition calibers are available at our well stocked gun range. You should bring your

own eye and ear protection or we have renal equipment available at the range. There

will be a lunch period available and snacks/refreshments are welcome in the classroom.

Again it may be helpful for you to bring a notebook and writing instrument for note

taking. There will NOT be a practice session in Phase 2.

Pricing: The cost for one person to take both Phases is $225.00

Cost for Veterans is $125.00

If you have either Utah CCW or Florida CCW we will reduce the full price by $50.00

Our Carry Conceal Class is designed to teach students the fundamentals to safely and legally carry a concealed firearm. This class is designed to give you training on the realities you will face and may experience every day when carrying a concealed weapon. After taking this course, students will have the knowledge, skills, mindset, and confidence to carry their firearm safely and efficiently. We highly recommend this class to anyone who has their Georgia Weapons Carry License, or those wanting to get their GAWCL. This is a four hour course and will include three hours of classroom instruction followed by an hour of range time with the instructor. This course is not a beginners class. SYNOPSIS:
Training to comply with the State of Florida requirement to obtain a concealed carry license. The training will cover the aspect of individual responsibility while carrying a firearm in a concealed way, as well as the legal implications of using the firearm.

We will cover specific regulations and laws of the state of Florida.

METHODOLOGIES
This course involves classroom lectures and live fire drills to demonstrate shooting and safety skills.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

Description:

South Carolina Gun School teaches a SLED approved curriculum to obtain a South Carolina Concealed Weapons Permit. You must be 21 years of age and a resident of South Carolina to take this class. You must complete both the written and shooting test with passing scores to be considered for your permit. SLED may take past 90 days to mail your permit to you. This class will cover and answer questions you may have about gun construction, gun handling skills, and questions about the laws. We do fingerprints in the class. All our classes have a NRA Range Safety Officer to assure the safety of our students. We make ourselves available after the class to answer your questions that may come up once you have taken the class.
