Would you like to travel with your handgun? First learn safe, proper gun handling, and the firearm laws in the states you are visiting. West Coast Armory's 4 hour class trains you for your Utah non-resident carry permit. With Washington and Utah permits you will be able to carry in 32 states.
We include almost everything for the Utah permit: fingerprint card, photograph, photocopies! Plus, this class also meets the training requirements for an Oregon permit and if you have taken Entry Level Handgun or Basic Level Handgun you can request a certificate of completion and then apply for Florida as well (you will need to apply for these states separately from the Utah application) giving you reciprocity in 35 states!
With your resident Washington and nonresident Utah permits combined, you will be able to carry in the following states:
Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, Delaware, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin, Wyoming

Our Home Defense course has been revamped! This course teaches you how to secure your home, defend your family, and navigate the aftermath. The practical portion of this class will be held in our new sim shoot house, so you may experience realistic, shoot/no-shoot scenarios.

Defining home defense ideas to better secure your home from break-ins and home invasions
Designating a “safe room” and the tools you want on-hand
Securing firearms in your house / kids around firearms
Cover vs. concealment and how to use it

Navigating the legal, psychological, and physiological aftermath of a defensive situation
Basic principles of maneuver in a structure

Description:
For women who are first time shooters or looking for a refresher. Learn how to shoot, safely handle, and store common types of handguns. Including both classroom and range time, this course sets the foundation for becoming safe and responsible when handling firearms. You will also receive a bronze level membership to our indoor shooting range upon successful completion of the class.
Must have:
Each participant must bring government issued ID and/or their Immigrant Green Card to class with them.
All participants must be 13 years of age or older. If the student is under 18 years of age, a parent or legal guardian must register to take the class with the student.
All participants must be able to speak and understand English fluently and without the assistance of a translator.
Women who are pregnant will not be allowed to attend any of our shooting courses as the percussive noise and lead exposure can be dangerous to the baby's health.

Onsite firearm training is available through our Right on Target training program, which is developed by active and retired military and law enforcement members. We also offer firearm repair and customization by experienced and certified gunsmiths capable of building that match grade pistol you have always wanted, but are also willing to make that small repair that may be needed.
