The Range at 355 is pleased to offer the following 16 hour Illinois Concealed Carry Certification Courses - taught by our own certified instructors.
Please bring your firearm and 100 rounds of ammunition to the first day of class. You will be learning basic handgun skills on the range in the afternoon.
The second day pf the class you will be shooting the certification test which will require your firearm and 60 rounds of ammunition.
If you do not have a firearm we will have rentals available at the range.
Ammunition may be purchased at the store.

The Range at 355 Learn to Shoot Fundamental course is designed as an introduction to firearms class. In this class you will learn the fundamentals of firearm handling, nomenclature, handgun selection, handgun calibers, and fundamental shooting skills. This is the perfect class to prepare you for concealed carry or to introduce you to shooting sports/defensive shooting skills. Even with advanced classes and seminars ALL errors occur when fundamentals break down under the stress of task loading and multi-tasking. Building a solid foundation is the key to mastery with firearms.

Range Safety and Range Commands
Legal considerations
Mindset
Firearm orientation and familiarization
Pistol knowledge and safe handgun handling
Selection of a firearm
Ammunition
Loading and unloading firearms

Preparatory Gun-Handling
Live fire training
Must have:
Personal Handgun (rentals available), comfortable clothing and 50 rounds of practice ammunition. NO LIVE AMMUNITION IN THE CLASSROOM.

Range at 355 has a state of the art Triple HEPA filter range ventilation system, installed by Carey’s Small Arms Range Ventilation. Carey’s is considered, by many in our industry, to be the best small arms range ventilation company in the world. Our exhaust air is cleaner than the outside air leaving you with an enjoyable shooting experience.
RIFLES ARE ALLOWED
The Range at 355 is pleased to allow your rifles up to .30 caliber (3300 fps) and we carry a large variety of AR platform rifles and other long-guns.
