At our Spring location we offer 27 Climate-controlled lanes to accommodate all your shooting needs. Our maximum distance is 25 yards and we allow pistols, rifles and shotguns (slugs only). Our Outdoor Training Facility features Lighted Life-Flight Helicopter Pad, 3 Pistol Ranges, AR15 Rifle Range, 750 Yard Precision Rifle Range, 5 Station Rappelling Tower - a 43 foot tall, and has a full service Camping area with Barracks style lodging included.

South Metro Public Safety Training Facility allows the general public access to firing range for the purpose of practicing safe and proficient firearms handling. The gun range is open to the public every Saturday 8 AM - 2 PM and most* Wednesdays from 6 PM - 9 PM. Cost is $20/lane for a single shooter.

When you visit us, we want you to concentrate on your shooting, not your watch! Our range fee is a full day pass, not an hourly charge. However, when the range is very busy, we might ask you to take a break from shooting after an hour. We’ll cycle you right back onto the range as soon as we can. We do our best to avoid having to do this, and it rarely happens, but we want everyone to be aware.

Description:
The entry fee is $10.95 for all customers over 18 and $6.95 for 17 and younger, this will give you access to both the handgun and rifle bays. We have 30 stalls open for handgun and 20 for rifle. Handgun goes out to 25yds and the rifle has targets at 100,200 & 300yds. Each stall is covered and has partitions separating you from the other shooter. Limited rental guns are also available.
Rental firearms are broken up into 3 categories; Handguns, rifles/shotguns & NFA Class 3 weapons. You must purchase range ammo in order to use firearms. Any category can be rented for $20 which gets you access to all the firearms in that category without additional fees. You also have the option of 5 rounds for $5 for each firearm.

Pistol calibers shot in pistols up to and including .45 ACP may be used on the indoor range, with the exception that no centerfire magnums are allowed. Members with .357 Magnum and .44 Magnum pistols may shoot .38 Spcl and .44 Spcl, respectively.

The outdoor range was rebuilt in 2008 with 21 foot berms and a "no-blue-sky" baffle system. The range offers shooting stations at 50 feet, 50 yards, and 100 yards. Additional targets were recently added for 22 and 33 feet. Please note that no steel-core ammo is allowed on the range.

High Bore Range - The outdoor rifle range at The Tewksbury Rod & Gun Club is a 100 yard range. This range can only be used in the presence of an Outdoor Range Officer. This range is open to all rifles, with the exceptions being machine guns and submachine guns. No full auto, or “hell fire” triggers, are allowed. There are target holders at 50, 75, and 100 yards. No targets are allowed closer than 50 yards. Handguns maybe used on this range provided that target holders are no closer than 50 yards, or permission from the range officer is obtained to move the firing line closer to the 100 yard berm.
