Our LTC class includes all State mandated classroom instruction, in addition you must pass the 25 question exam and demonstrate handgun proficiency with our Licensed Instructor. Total time (all classroom, exam, handgun proficiency, and breaks is approximately 5 to 6 hours). You will receive your Certificate of Training LTC 100 form upon successful completion. MINIMUM CLASS ENROLLMENT OF 3 STUDENTS OR CLASS WILL BE RE-SCHEDULED AT NO CHARGE. There is a $25 charge for any student requesting to re-schedule their class date more than once.
Handgun, eye and ear protection. (Rental Firearms and eye & ear protection are available for an additional charge.) 50 rounds (Course fee does not cover ammunition costs.) Closed toe shoes, no sandals, no flip flops
Medium size towel or rag for table and resting your handgun on
Bring a lunch, and/or snacks, your own drinks for the day. (No official lunch break to make a shorter day)

Self-Defense Firearm Basics - In this module students are familiarized with the universal safety rules of handling firearms. Participants are introduced to the various types of pistol actions, including revolvers, semi-automatics, and strike-fired handguns, and the pros and cons of handgun choices. Other topics in this module include ammunition components, care and storage, common ammunition and firearm malfunctions and the methods used to clear them. Participants will be introduced to other use of force options as well.
Defensive Shooting Fundamentals - This module covers the differences between defensive shooting and marksmanship, how to properly grip the firearm, the shooting platform, aligning the muzzle to the target, point shooting, flash sight picture, sighted fire, and trigger control. Participants will utilize the SIRT training pistol in the classroom before progressing to the range for live fire exercises.
Gear and Gadgets - Students will be introduced to the various gear and accessories available to firearms owners. Equipment covered includes holsters, belts, tactical lights, laser sights and storage solutions.
Basic and Advanced Skills - This module assists in answering the question “what’s next?”. Participants will be exposed to various drills to enhance their new skills.

3. You may rent our handgun and ammunition for an additional cost. (approximately $30 for gun rental and ammunition)
4. Bring your UNLOADED handgun/handguns in a bag or case. Only standard handgun calibers can be shot on our range. (50 rounds) Ammunition must be commercially produced with brass or nickle casing only.
5. Eye and Ear protection. Buck & Doe's has rental equipment for $5 or you can purchase in store.
(Must purchase store ammo) Buck & Doe’s offers a state-of-the-art gun range facility. All of our lanes are well-lit and kept comfortable with our advanced ventilation system. With fast electronic retrievable systems, our gun range is equipped to elevate your experience to the next level of fun. Our interactive, electronic system puts you in control of setting distances and turns for an experience like none other. No more than two shooters at a time per lane.
