This course is held on Tuesdays (following Friday-Monday courses) and some Fridays (following Monday-Thursday courses - note that if there is no Friday CCW course offered, the next scheduled CCW course would be the following Tuesday).
This course is available to weekend and midweek students who have successfully completed the 2-Day or 4-Day Defensive Handgun course immediately preceding the CCW course. In other words, you must attend the immediately following scheduled CCW course of your Defensive Handgun course. Depending on your course schedule, there may be several days of "down time" before your CCW course.
Completion of the two or four day Defensive Handgun courses and the immediately following scheduled one day CCW course is required to satisfy the training requirements for initial and renewal Nevada CCW permits and initial Utah permits.
Note that Florida, Arizona, and Virginia just require proof of training submitted with your application, which a copy of your course certificate provides.

This outstanding entry level course is for those students who initially do not have the time or funds to take our four day course, but want to get a fast start on their gun training.
Upon completion of this course you will have a fundamental understanding of the defensive use of the handgun. Among the many skills you acquire will be the ability to safely and easily present your weapon from the holster and fire two, sighted shots to the center of a target 5 yards away – all under 1.5 seconds! This course more than satisfies gun handling and marksmanship criteria for a Concealed Weapons Permit.

The 2-Day Advanced Tactical Handgun course goes well beyond the basic tactical tools and techniques introduced during the 2-Day Tactical Handgun course. Students will learn numerous advanced techniques and then focus on the application of those techniques in tactical situation.
Note: There is a Night Shoot (including a simulator bay) on the evening of Day 1.
Activities in the 2-Day Advanced Tactical Handgun include:

Responding to threats from the rear

This course is open to all students who hold a Distinguished Graduate certificate at the Advanced Level from the 4-Day Handgun Combat Master Prep Course.
You will reach your highest levels of proficiency through this course as it begins on Day One with an Intermediate Handgun Skills Evaluation, and climbs from there.
Diagnostic dry practice, trigger control, and gun handling drills uncover any flaws in your weapon presentation. Repetitive shooting drills combined with "instructor pacing and modeling" rapidly build your speed, accuracy, and consistency from arm`s length out to 50 yards.

The 2-Day Advanced Tactical Handgun course goes well beyond the basic tactical tools and techniques introduced during the 2-Day Tactical Handgun course. Students will learn numerous advanced techniques and then focus on the application of those techniques in tactical situation.
Note: There is a Night Shoot (including a simulator bay) on the evening of Day 1.
Activities in the 2-Day Advanced Tactical Handgun include:
Presenting your handgun while on the move
Responding to threats from the rear
Responding to threats utilizing non-standard presentation techniques
Shooting from unconventional positions (lying on your back, lying on your side)
One handed malfunction clearances using either the firing or support hand
Situational decision making based on your opponent’s weapon, characteristics, and proximity
Advanced use of cover and concealment
Malfunction clearances on the move
Weapon presentation from within a vehicle (including egress from the vehicle)
Shooting around or under vehicles and other types of cover or concealment
Advanced low light and night techniques, such as utilizing cover while using a flashlight

You will reach your highest levels of proficiency through this course as it begins on Day One with an Intermediate Handgun Skills Evaluation, and climbs from there.
