The Idaho enhanced permit is a separate permit from the standard Idaho concealed carry permit. It requires additional training to obtain, and is intended to allow you to carry in more States than the standard permit. The enhanced permit is presently accepted by 37 States including Washington State. Our ENHANCED Permit class (CTS - 300) exceeds all Idaho State requirements for the new enhanced permit.
Certification for the CTS-300 class will require completion of 100 rds of fire in a qualification course of fire at varying distances. Students are required to load and unload their own firearms and magazines. THIS COURSE IS NOT A SHOOTING COURSE. YOU MUST KNOW HOW TO SHOOT AND WILL BE QUALIFYING IN THIS CLASS.
You are not registered in a class until it is paid for. It can be paid by Paypal on our website or you can call in your credit card number or you can come in person to pay.

Topics include Idaho law, Firearms safety, Marksmanship / Defensive shooting, Awareness, Ballistic consideration, Use of Force issues, Legal process, Your actions pre and post incident, and Firearm qualification.

The senior rate is 65 years of age and older.
This basic shooters course is a 8 hour class, limited to 10 students and is geared to the novice shooter. The course begins with a review of firearm safety, shooting terminology, weapons, ammo and moves quickly into shooting skills development. Classroom demonstrations, lectures, and videos will be utilized to ensure the students understanding of the shooting fundamentals. Students must be 16 yrs old. Age 16-21 must have parental permission.
On the range the instructor will combine the classroom drills with live fire exercises developed to improve the students shooting. Each student will be evaluated for their understanding of grip, sight alignment, sight picture, stance, trigger control, and breath control. Each student will be required to demonstrate the proper loading, unloading and immediate action drills for their particular firearm.

It's recommended the student provide a handgun with two magazines or speed loaders, and a billed baseball type cap. (Center Target Sports can loan the student a firearm for the day) Students are required to have 150 rounds of jacketed or plated ammunition(except.22LR) and eye and ear protection.
