This class is recommended for beginners and those who want to improve their shooting skills.

You are not registered in a class until it is paid for. It can be paid by Paypal on our website or you can call in your credit card number or you can come in person to pay.

*A 48-hour notice must be given to be eligible to move to another of the same class or to a future scheduled class of the same. No refunds on classes.

The senior rate is 65 years of age and older.

This basic shooters course is a 8 hour class, limited to 10 students and is geared to the novice shooter. The course begins with a review of firearm safety, shooting terminology, weapons, ammo and moves quickly into shooting skills development. Classroom demonstrations, lectures, and videos will be utilized to ensure the students understanding of the shooting fundamentals. Students must be 16 yrs old. Age 16-21 must have parental permission.

On the range the instructor will combine the classroom drills with live fire exercises developed to improve the students shooting. Each student will be evaluated for their understanding of grip, sight alignment, sight picture, stance, trigger control, and breath control. Each student will be required to demonstrate the proper loading, unloading and immediate action drills for their particular firearm.

Must have:

All instruction materials, range time, and targets are provided by Center Target Sports. It's recommended the student provide a handgun with two magazines or speed loaders, and a billed baseball type cap. (Center Target Sports can loan the student a firearm for the day) Students are required to have 150 rounds of jacketed or plated ammunition(except.22LR) and eye and ear protection.
