Description:
This course provides the Texas Department of Public Safety (TxDPS) required classroom training and firearm qualification students need to obtain a Texas Concealed Handgun License (CHL).
The course is not intended to train students how to shoot a firearm. The qualification test portion of the course is required by the State of Texas to demonstrate your ability to safely and properly handle and shoot a handgun.
Classroom time will cover knowledge and selection of firearms including but not limited to:
Basic Firearms Training
Safety
DPS Online Application
Use of Force
Dispute Resolution
Texas Concealed Handgun Law
Knowledge of Law
Restrictions and Punishment for violations
Identification of proper signs

Must have:
Semi-automatic handgun or a revolver** (unloaded and in a box) of at least .32 caliber in good repair and have no modifications that will make the handgun less safe.
Baseball Cap
Safety Glasses Can Be Provided
Covered Ear Protection can Be Provided
Footwear that covers both entire feet
One box of 50 round ammunition
Bring your handgun in a covered container, case or bag completely unloaded. Have your hand gun cleared by our range instructor.

Then you need to get registered for the Liberty Armory “LADIES Fundamentals of Pistol” course, taught by our Lead Instructor, Mr. Paul White. Its a quick and easy course for women to get in tune with their firearm. We recommend this course for every female who plans on owning a firearm; novice to advanced shooter.

Join us for TACTICAL NIGHTS! A night for skill building drills and scenarios. Each class will be an opportunity to work with our lead instructor, Paul White to improve on various skills taught at Tac-P Solutions at the Liberty Armory! We move you beyond the firing line to perform drills that you cannot do during normal business hours.

Semi-automatic Pistol or Revolver
3 magazines (minimum) & speed loader (recommended)
Paddle or Belt Holster (Kydex or Leather)
Magazine Pouches (Single or Double)
Gun Belt
Required Ammunition: 200-300 rounds (Brass, FMJ)

This 8-hour course will Cover Conceal Carry Tactics in a way that it has never been taught. We will discuss and demonstrate the various techniques of conceal carry with different garments and its pros & cons. It’s important that the student understand the tactics involved with carrying a weapon concealed as well as the Law Enforcement encounter when a Deadly Force encounter occurs. CCT is for the individual who carries a concealed handgun and wants to transform to the next level. Through various training scenarios and shooting drills the student will demonstrate and gain knowledge of what is takes to carry a concealed weapon out in the public. Topics that will be discussed and demonstrated are listed below:

Our private members only range accommodates five, 15 yard, shooting lanes available for practice, training and qualification. Our courteous and professional staff will of course be available to make your visit safe and enjoyable. We are committed to firearm safety training and strengthening the sport of shooting. Come discover Houston’s premier indoor gun range and handgun training center.
Membership can happen one of two ways. If you purchase a firearm from us, you are automatically a “Liberty Lover” for life. Or you can sign up for the annual membership for a small administrative fee. Once you are a member, range fees are $15 per lane for the member, plus $5 for additional guests. Gun rentals (using our ammo) are also available for $25, with the lane fee inclusive in the rental fee.
