At the completion of the course, you will have everything you need to apply for your SC Concealed Weapons Permit. The complete package is $95. (ninety-five dollars), and covers the classroom portion, testing, fingerprinting, and range qualification. You will also need a $50. (fifty dollar) cashier’s check or money order to submit to SLED with your application, not required the day of the class.

Basic - For a defensive long gun, the shotgun can’t be beaten, but contrary to popular belief, it’s not a point and shoot weapon. You want to know how to safely and effectively run your shotgun to its and your potential. We want to show you how
Must have:
Cased, UNLOADED pump or semiautomatic shotgun*
10 (ten) rounds of OO buckshot
100 (one hundred) rounds of 7, 8, or 9 shot
10 (ten) rifled slugs
Hearing protection, either earplugs or earmuff style
Ballistic eyewear (Inexpensive and can be found at sporting goods counters)
Baseball cap or hat
Sunscreen
Water
Appropriate clothing for the weather. (Range is outdoors, and we shoot regardless of weather, safety permitting.
*Shotgun MUST have a fixed or folding stock – NO pistol grip only guns will be allowed.
Kneepads are strongly encouraged.
The classroom and range are not within reasonable driving distance of restaurants. Bring a lunch.

Water
Gatorade, Powerade, or other electrolyte replacement drink.
Folding chair
Lunch and snacks (There are no restaurants nearby)
