Providing meaning and effective firearms training, culminating in the safe and successful completion of the certification process is the goal of this course.
With 15 hours of mandated instruction, New Mexico is one of the most stringent “Shall Issue” states. This stringency equates to a better prepared citizen for the solemn duty of carrying a concealed firearm.
The course places emphasis on the state laws governing concealed carry. Of equal importance are the segments devoted to safe gun handling, conflict avoidance, and understanding the prevailing laws covering self-defense.
Rental firearms for you to use during the qualification are available at an additional fee. If you choose to utilize our rental firearms you will be required to use ammunition purchased from MAGS.
