Description:
We offer classes for first time and renewal applications, for residents and non-residents. Our class and instructors meet all the requirements of the Nevada Sheriff's and Chief's Association to apply for a CCW permit.
All classroom and shooting qualifications are done in our comfortable, climate-controlled facility.
Upon successfully completing our class, you will receive a Certificate of Completion that you must take to your county Sheriff (if a Nevada resident) or the Washoe County Sheriff's Office* if you are a non-resident.
Our Certificate of Completion can be submitted to the Sheriff up to one year from the date the class was taken. The CCW application fee will be collected by the Sheriff at time of application.
Once you receive your permit, you are eligible to carry any handgun concealed until the expiration date as noted on your permit. (Permits are good for 5 years.)

We offer private instruction for the beginner to advanced level student looking for an alternative to our group classes.
Whether your focus is home defense, personal protection, firearm safety, gun fitting or the like, we've got you covered. Our hourly sessions are designed to meet your needs, goals and skill level.
We can often accommodate walk-ins (subject to availability), however we recommend you call or email to make an appointment.
Private instruction is offered on our digital simulator, general public live fire bay, or private live fire bay.

(20) STATE OF THE ART LANES
The bays at Reno Guns & Range feature 20 state of the art lanes with touch screens & 360 degree turning targets. All lanes accommodate handguns and rifles (calibers up to and including .308). Each bay offers generous 4’ wide lanes, LED lighting, and at least one lane with an adjustable table height. Our bays are equipped with a custom HVAC system, rubber traps with ballistic rubber tile, and more to minimize lead dust and ricochets. For improved customer experience and safety, as part of our standard operating procedures, a trained Range Safety Officer (RSO) or instructor staffs each bay whenever they are being used by the general public.
