The class will look at not only the laws concerning carrying a pistol in MN but perhaps even more importantly how to put into place a whole-life Personal Protection Plan. This plan will help you to become more aware of your surroundings which in turn can help you to avoid situations in which you may need to resort to drawing and using your firearm.

In addition to attending the classroom time you will be required to prove proficiency with a handgun of your choice. You will be required to shoot a minimum of 20 rounds at a distance from 21 feet. We require a firearm caliber that is sufficient for self defense (380acp or larger). If you do not have a firearm of your own, one will be provided for you to qualify (one box of 9mm ammo will cost $15 for use in the provided firearm).
