Description:
This eight hour course meets and exceeds the State of Michigan Requirements to obtain a license or permit. The class will cover: Firearms and the law, firearm safety, ammunition and firearm components, home defense and personal protection information, shooting stances, marksmanship fundamentals, basic holster techniques and choosing a firearm that's "right for you." You will spend time in both the classroom and on the range, completing a 150-round course of fire. In addition to the course fee, the State of Michigan has a $115 application fee to receive your CPL.
Must have:
Notepad and pen for note-taking, personal firearm (rentals available), eye and ear protection, minimum 150 rounds of ammunition (must be purchased in store, if renting).

The 9 hour CQT C.R.A.V.A.T. course shows you the principles of Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC). You will learn tactical/low light assessments, casualty movement techniques, wound care which will include tourniquets, wound-packing and pressure dressings, as well as chest wound and airway care.
If purchased prior to the course date, receive 15% off a North American Rescue Mini First Aid Kit. Registration must be paid in full for discount to be applied
Must have:

A physically and mentally demanding advanced pistol and rifle course designed to get you thinking and making decisions while in high-stress situations and environments. Please be well aware of the physical and mental demands for this class. All areas of our facility will be utilized including range, VirTra V-300 Simulator, combatives area and shoot house.

CQT’s range is equipped with Mancom “Competition Series” booths. These are designed to provide privacy and safety for shooters on the firing line. The booth frames are constructed of rectangular steel tubing around a steel protection plate with clear ballistic glass panels and swing-out barriers for advanced shooting techniques and training.
CQT’s live fire tactical range uses Mancom Touch Plus™ Target Systems. This allows the shooter, using touch screen technology, to control the target retrieval / running-man / and static turning target. Shooters can choose from a number of programed scenarios or CQT’s Range Officer can assist each shooter in target positions from a remote control panel.
Firearms ranging from .22 caliber pistols to AK-47's are available for rental at CQT. A full-featured lineup including, but not limited to, sub-compact pistols, SBR's and full-auto rifles. All ammunition must be purchased at CQT with firearm rentals.
Ammunition is additional and must be purchased at CQT for use with rental firearms.
Range is wheelchair accessible.
Steel-cased, steel-cored, 5.56/.223 SS 109 and M855 (green tip), tracer and spread (target/bird shot) ammo is prohibited.
You must be 18 years of age or older in order to rent a firearm.
Must be 21 years of age or older to purchase pistol ammunition.
