Description:
This course meets the requirements to obtain a concealed pistol license (CPL) in Michigan. Topics covered include making you and your home safe, awareness levels, responding to a possible break-in, avoiding confrontations, confronting an attacker, legal issues, appropriate use of force, ammunition selection, handling the aftermath of a defensive shooting and the fundamentals of pistol shooting and safety.
Must have:
Students should wear a collared shirt that can be buttoned up to prevent expended brass from going down their shirt and closed toed footwear (no sandals) please Students who do bring their own handgun must also bring 100 rounds of ammunition.You handgun must be encased and unloaded until instructed otherwise.

This is an ALL INCLUSIVE class with NO HIDDEN FEES. It includes range time, targets, eye protection, hearing protection, lunch (usually a sub, pop & chips), a t-shirt, the use of a .22 caliber pistol with .22 caliber ammunition provided and a certificate of training (so long as you pass the written exam and shooting portions of the training. You can bring your own handgun, but there is a charge for ammunition if you need it (other than .22 caliber). Students who do bring their own handgun must also bring 100 rounds of ammunition.You handgun must be encased and unloaded until intsructed otherwise.

This 15 hour course meets in three hours increments over the course of 5 weeks. It covers in depth; all subject matter listed in our one hour stock classes listed above, and goes far beyond. Subject matter such as mind set, tactics, equipment selection, ammunition selection, what to do after a shooting, multiple adversaries, advanced shooting techniques, and evolutions of fire that test your judgment in the use of deadly force using our exclusive CAPS live-fire training simulator.
Must have:
Handgun, holster, 150 rounds of ammunition a week, at least two (2) magazines for semi-auto pistols or a rapid reload device for a revolver, eye and hearing protection..

Our staff is friendly & dedicated to helping you enjoy your time here at Center Mass. 4-foot wide shooting booths. State of the art ventilation. Handgun, Shotgun / Rifle up to 300 Win Mag welcome. Electronic range waiver and check-in system.
You can bring your own ammunition (subject to inspection).
