ST. TAMMANY’S ONLY INDOOR SHOOTING RANGE ON THE NORTHSHORE IN SLIDELL.
This Louisiana Concealed Carry Handgun Permit course teaches the basic knowledge, skills, and attitude necessary for the safe use of a pistol and revolver in target shooting.
When checking out, in the special instructions box, please rate your previous firearms experience as either BEGINNER, NOVICE, INTERMEDIATE or EXPERT.
Details: This course is nine hours long as required by the Louisiana State Police. It includes classroom and range time learning to shoot pistols or revolvers. Students learn rules for safe gun handling; pistol and revolver parts and operation; ammunition; shooting fundamentals; range rules; shooting from the standing position; cleaning; and continued opportunities for skill development.
Students will complete Live Fire training and a nationally standardized shooting qualification while in our State-of-Art Indoor Air Conditioned Range adjacent to our classroom with NRA & Louisiana State Certified Instructors.
Students will receive a course completion certificate.
Course completion is required to obtain a Louisiana Concealed Carry Permit.
*Class is very informal. We take a 10-minute break every hour & a lunch break.

Included in the class is a basic cleaning kit. All handgun models welcomed.
Be good to your gun and it will be good to you. Regular gun cleaning, lubricating and rust prevention, you will get many years of top performance & enjoyment.
Cleaning correctly will reward you smoother operation & unwavering accuracy.
Bring your UNLOADED firearm and arrive approximately 15 minutes prior to your class start time.
