This class is designed for the new carbine (AR style) owner or someone looking to buy their first carbine. Some of the topics include: safe operation of the carbine, optics, accessories and zeroing. After completion of this class students will be able to operate their carbine in a safe manner, have a basic understanding of the application for various optics and accessories and have their rifle zeroed or the understanding on how to zero a rifle in the future.

“Essentials of Indiana Gun Law” is a three-hour course addressing the most important legal issues facing every Indiana gun owner today. Some of the issues presented include: when are you justified in using deadly force in Indiana – in your home, or out in public? When is it a crime for you to point your firearm at another person? When can you be prosecuted for the crimes of “Intimidation with a Deadly Weapon” or “Criminal Recklessness with a Deadly Weapon” merely for drawing your gun? Where is it illegal for you to carry your firearm, even with an Indiana License to Carry Handgun?

When we set out to build Tim’s Shooting Academy, a tour of area indoor shooting ranges revealed that existing facilities often failed to meet the high standards of their customers. In several cases, facilities had serious health and safety shortcomings. Over months of research, Tim and his professional associates discovered that U.S. Navy has developed the most stringent set of standards and specifications in the world for shooting ranges. With the help of experts, they set out to design and build the only range facility in the area that conforms to these standards, making Tim’s truly a world-class facility.
