Description:
This is a class that is perfect for first time shooters. It takes you through gun ownership, including the basic understanding of handling guns safely, as well as the process of shooting a handgun and its functionality and design. The course includes lecture based instruction that includes handling firearms safely and the basic operating procedures of the gun. This is followed by live-fire drills for students, where the topics learned in the classroom are put into practice safely and under expert supervision.
This class covers a variety of topics including: The common types of handguns, handgun nomenclature, the pros and cons of handgun types, basic firearm safety, ammunition types and functions, basic marksmanship, gun care and maintenance.
