Description:
This 3-hour class meets the requirements necessary for students to obtain their Florida Concealed Carry License. It consists primarily of classroom lecture that covers license protocols, general do’s and don’ts, legal issues, use of force laws, basic firearm safety and a review of basic marksmanship. The class concludes with a live-fire exercise where students demonstrate safe shooting skills. Students are provided all necessary license application forms and certificates upon successful completion. Each class is taught by experienced instructors with multiple certifications (NRA, CJSTC, etc.). Florida charges separate processing fees to obtain license.
Must have:
Students are STRONGLY encouraged to bring and shoot their own handgun.

This course is for the new or beginning AR platform shooter/owner. Students will learn the history, design and function of the AR platform. They will also be taught field stripping, maintenance, ammunition selection, sight adjustments/zeroing, and weapons handling. This course time will also include firing positions, fundamentals of marksmanship, loading/unloading, and clearing malfunctions. Students will assemble/disassemble their AR platform.

Shooters World has a large assortment of semi-automatic and fully-automatic pistols and rifles available at our shooting range rental section. Our firearm rental inventory allows customers to try many different weapons in order to make the best purchasing decision or simply enjoy the many varieties of firearms available in our inventory. We encourage our customers to “Try before you buy” to ensure that your next weapon purchase is a perfect fit!
All firearms rentals must use ammunition purchased at Shooters World. The price of any firearm rental will be credited towards the purchase of the same model firearm.
You must have at least two persons in your group to rent a firearm at Shooters World.
All firearms are subject to cleaning, feel free to call the our range staff to check on the status of any of our rental firearms.
