This class is intended for those who already have a degree of shooting experience with handguns.
The 1 day CCW Class consists of the following:
1. Safety
2. Legal Liabilities (where you may and may not CCW, When you can use deadly force, Current Colorado Revised Statutes, etc.)
3. Moral and emotional issues about using deadly force and carrying a weapon.
4. Firearms Proficiency (Stance, Grip, Breathing, Sight Picture, Trigger Finger Control, Shooting Tests, Improvement)
5. Marksmanship (Shooting Tests and hands on training)
6. Tactical use of firearms and utilizing cover (Shooting Tests and hands on training)
7. Shoot a score of at least 70% on the shooting test and qualify for CCW (expectation of 80% or better)
8. Certificate of course completion with shooting score
9. You turn in a copy of your certificate with your CCW application to the required office of your resident Colorado county. Providing you pass the Colorado Bureau of investigation background check, they should issue your permit ID card to you within 90 days.
This class is held on most Saturdays.
Non Members pay $145.00 - Members pay $115.00
Student MUST have their own reliable weapon and holster.
Weapon needs to be no less than 9mm or .38 Special.

Silver Bullet offers a very educational and thorough Home Defense Course. Consider including the rest of household in some of the training.
NRA Certified Instructor.
The Home Defense Class consists of the following:
1. Safety
2. Mechanics and care of Revolvers, Semi Auto Pistols and Shotguns
3. Consultation on storage of home defense weapons (This may lead to Youth Gun Safety Training)
4. Less penetrating ammunition types
5. Safety of bystanders in the house from "friendly fire"
6. Positively identifying targets before shooting
7. Procedures and drills for the rest of the family to follow incase of home invasion or the threat of home invasion (family involved in class)
8. Firearms Proficiency (Using a tactical light, Stance, Grip, Breathing, Sight Picture, Trigger Finger Control, Ammo Penetration, Shooting Tests, Improvement)
9. Exploring ways to use your dwelling to your advantage (bullet proof cover, marbles on the floor, book shelves knocked over, lights out, etc.)

There are times when one needs to know a little more than just home defense.
Silver Bullet can arrange much individual tactical training during range hours, by appointment, but some advanced training must be done in group class after hours or early before the range opens at pre-arranged times and dates.
We can custom tailor tactical training to best fit your situation.
Silver Bullet reserves the right to refuse tactical training to anyone for any reason.
CLOSE QUARTERS BATTLE TRAINING PROGRAM CONSISTS OF THE FOLLOWING:

4. Low light shooting
5. Moving with your fire team
6. Clearing and Securing rooms
7. Identifying and Engaging multiple targets

We have directional fans behind the firing line that blow gun smoke and airborne lead particles downrange into a series of 3 smoke eater filtration systems, then further down range into the high power suction filtration system built into the backstop.
In the lobby and classroom we have additional smoke and lead filtration systems for your health, safety and comfort.
The Silver Bullet Shooting Range provides a wide selection of handguns, in a variety of calibers for rental use in our range. Before one purchases a handgun for defensive or sporting purposes, it is very helpful if they have a variety of choices to try before that purchase.

We have marked yardage to indicate shooting distance.
We have five shooting lanes with electric target carriers that go out to a distance of 25 yards each. Rather than having to wait for a "cease fire" in order to retrieve your target, you simply bring your individual target back to you with the flick of the switch. We maintain good ventilation in our facility to make a more pleasant and healthy shooting experience. Silver Bullet is a pistol range but you can also fire any rifle cartridges up to 30-06. We sell most calibers of full metal jacket pistol cartridges for use here in our range or to go. You may shoot your own ammo if it meets the following restrictions and after it has been inspected by a Range Officer.

Our regular range admission fee is $18.00 per shooter for a minimum of one hour. You pay $225.00 up front with cash, check or credit card. We issue you a Laminated Membership Card good for one year with 12 little targets along the bottom. These targets are prepaid one hour range admissions that we punch off the card as you use them. You have 12 punches on your card! These punches do not expire with your 1 year Discount Membership. Use these punches as you wish. Use them all up first or save them for guests that you bring to the range with you, or simply save them for a time when you would rather not pay your Discount Member Range Fee of $13.00. Now you will have money that you could use for ammo or targets! Annual Members enjoy $5.00 off the regular range fee when they opt not to use a punch or when they have no punches left. Most members like shooting in our facility and renew even before their card expires. (Discounts are no longer valid when the card expires, but the punches never expire.) Members also enjoy 20% off in-store ammunition and 10% off all accessories, targets, gun rentals, cleaning kits, etc. Members also get 1 Free Range Admission every time they sign up for a membership or renew, which adds up to 13 Free Shoots per Membership Card. Now you will have money that you could use for ammo or targets! Annual Members also enjoy discounts on NRA Certified and Tactical Instruction. $5.00 off the standard $18.00 range fee = $13.00 for the discount member range fee, should you elect to pay rather than punch.
