UTAH – ARIZONA Concealed Firearms Permits (CCW)
LAX Firing Range offers Concealed Weapons Permit classes. If you are over the age of 21 and have a clean record, you can make an appointment to obtain an out-of-state concealed weapons permit for the State of Utah. The permit is good for 27 states and includes Arizona. IT DOES NOT INCLUDE CALIFORNIA.

One hour of classroom instruction, which will primarily go over safety and marksmanship skills, followed by one hour of actual range time. firing a handgun, rifle or shotgun. We include targets, range time, one box of ammunition, gun rental and the instructor for the entire session.
**Beginner Firearms Training courses are available by appointment only.
All of our classes are taught by certified NRA instructors and we can tailor any classes for all ages and skill levels.

This course, provided by LAX Firing Range, meets the requirements for the official California Guard Card. The State of California requires that anyone employed in a security or protective agent position must possess a valid Guard Registration Card. This course is essential for anyone looking to get into the security guard field.
The Power to Arrest course involves studying the PTA Training Manual with information provided by BSIS, in addition to training on “Weapons of Mass Destruction,” using training videos also provided by BSIS. This course uses video and instructor lecture, workbook exercises and a written examination. Students must complete the entire 8-hour course to receive their Power to Arrest certification.
Classes are done by appointment only.
*Course completion certificates are given out after completing all class hours. Certificates are necessary to have in order to keep your guard status active

This course will give you the NRA’s professional methods of teaching new shooters the basics of handgun marksmanship.
We need more female instructors to reach out to women and introduce them to the essential skills of firearms handling for recreational and self-defense purposes.

Fee is paid upon checking off your lane. This fee is to reserve a time slot for you and your friends. Lane availability may vary depending on date and time. There is no guarantee to the number of lanes we will be able to hold. If we were unable to hold any lanes your spot will be held at the front of the line for the next available lanes. Reservations must be made during normal business hours at least 1 day in advance. Your reservation will be canceled if you do not arrive on or before the time you reserved.
