Classes that are scheduled for a week day are split classes. Weekend classes are all in one day. For split classes, signing up for the first class automatically enrolls the student in the second class. Classes are held on back to back days. Course Description: This eight (8) hour course teaches participants how to operate revolvers and semi-automatic pistols and includes classroom and range time. Students learn the rules for safe gun handling, pistol parts and operation, ammunition, shooting fundamentals, range rules, one and two-handed standing position; cleaning the pistol, and continued opportunities for skill development. At the end of the course students will receive a course completion certificate, which MEETS VIRGINIA RESIDENT CONCEALED HANDGUN PERMIT REQUIREMENTS. Equipment: Tuition covers the use of a pistol, ammunition, targets, eye and ear protection, classroom and range fees. Prerequisite: None Cancellation Policy: By purchasing this course, you are agreeing to the Cancellation Policy: All courses are non-refundable. With minimum ADVANCED notice of 48 hours, one course reschedule will be permitted for another future course date. Students must be present for the duration of the course.
