This class meets the requirements for you to apply for your Virginia Concealed Carry Permit. Like all VA CCP classes, this one covers safe handling of firearms, but is NOT a Basic Fundamentals course. Students should be familiar with the fundamentals of shooting (loading,unloading, etc.), prior to attending. We have added a legal block of instruction and range exercises which may not be covered in other CCP courses. Knowing your legal responsibilities is important for you to become a responsible concealed pistol carrier. During the range exercises, you will learn to draw from a holster and demonstrate proficiency with your firearm. Successful completion of the course earns you the certificate necessary to apply for a Concealed Carry Permit, and your CSA Holster Qualification card, entitling you to draw from the holster on the Tactical Range, when it is open for that purpose. Cancellation Policy: By purchasing this course, you are agreeing to the Cancellation Policy: All courses are non-refundable. With minimum ADVANCED notice of 48 hours, one course reschedule will be permitted for another future course date. Students must be present for the duration of the course. Firearm in good working order; Strong side inside or outside the waist holster; At least 1 spare magazine or speed loader 100 rounds of ammunition Optional: Magazine or speed loader pouch
