Description:
The Dallas Pistol Club now offers a Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) certified course that is required for those who wish to apply for a Handgun License.
The course is comprised of approximately 4 hours of classroom instruction and up to 2 hours for the live-fire qualification on the DPC range to demonstrate handgun proficiency by the student. The complete course is 5 - 6 hours.
Must have:
You will need to bring a functioning firearm and a minimum of 50 rounds of ammunition
Prerequisite: This course assumes you have a basic working knowledge of the handgun you will be using for the live-fire qualification. At a minimum, students should know how to load the firearm and operate it safely.
