Description:

COURSE OBJECTIVE: This one day course is designed for men and women who choose to take a proactive approach to personal security, home and work-place protection. Defensive Handgun Level 1 course will enhance situational awareness, promote personal security posture and introduce students to legal use of the handgun in defense situations. The student will learn defensive shooting fundamentals and personal security measures.
SUBJECT AREAS COVERED:Criminal Mindset / Activity Trends; Legal Aspects of Personal Defense ; Handgun Safety and Operations; Defensive Handgun Techniques (Pistol / Revolver); Draw Techniques (Holster / Purse);Threat Engagement Techniques; Personal Defense (Home, Residence, Vehicle); Weapons laws; Defensive Mindset.

Must have:

Handgun (Pistol or Revolver); Holster 2 Magazines (Semi-auto pistol (N/A if using a revolver); 3 speed loaders (revolver, recommended) ; 500 rounds of ammunition; Purse (if applicable) ; Wrap around Eye Protection; Hearing Protection; Appropriate Attire / Long Sleeves (Belt required)
