Class description:
An introduction to official rules, necessary equipment, etiquette, and camaraderie of sanctioned matches—USPSA, Falling Steel, Steel Challenge and 3-gun competitions. Class time and practice will be held on the range.
Minimum class size=5. Maximum class size=20.

Must have:

Functioning pistol with a holster that works with that pistol and covers the trigger. (Rules for drawing from the holster will be covered.)
• Minimum 100 rounds of ammunition for your firearm. (Remember-no steel or bi-metal projectiles!)
• Eye and ear protection. Proper clothing—no open-toed shoes or tank tops.
Optional equipment:
• Those students wishing to participate in 3-gun orientation will need the following:
• Rifle--.223 with 50 rounds (No steel core or bi-metal ammo)
• Shotgun—with 50 rounds (A limited number of shotguns are available for rental in the office for those with concealed carry permits.)
Students should bring their Foothills Range Card, or if new to our range, have already viewed our range safety video and submitted a waiver online
