Be Confident , Be Comfortable, Be Safe
Classroom

The first part of the class will be spent in a comfortable classroom setting. Our certified instructors will review gun safety and discuss gun ownership and children. Students will learn firearm and ammunition terminology. The instructor will then move to hands-on instruction on safely loading/unloading firearms, operating the actions of firearms, and clearing malfunctions.
Simulator

Students will gain confidence in the second portion of the class in our state-of-the-art, interactive simulator room. Our instructors will teach:

Proper gun grip
Shooting stances
Sight alignment
Sight picture
Trigger control

Students will have the opportunity to practice these skills in a safe, hands-on environment. Real guns equipped with CO2 conversions simulate recoil and noise. This is an experience that can only be found at Midwest Shooting.
Live Fire on Indoor Range

The class will then move into our indoor shooting range. Students will fire their handguns practicing the skills learned in the classroom and simulator. Students will receive individual instruction while firing their handguns. You will leave feeling comfortable with your handgun and confident in your skill to operate it.

The class is limited to 4 students per class. Rental guns are included. Students may also bring their own firearms. Students must provide or purchase their own ammunition.
