Description:

This class covers an introduction to the carbine weapons platform, features/functions, gun safety, zeroing iron sights, zeroing red dot sights, loading/unloading/reloading, multiple firing positions, multiple target/distance engagements, mechanical offset, gear set-up, use of slings, cleaning, and safe storage.

Must have:

Carbine (or “pistol” equivalent), including but not limited to AR-15, AR-9, AK47, AK-9, IWI Tavor, FN SCAR, CZ Scorpion, SIG MPX/MCX
At least 3 magazines
Mag pouches
1-point or 2-point sling
Eye protection
Electronic hearing protection
Rifle bag or box to safely transport to/from the range
Minimum of 100 rounds training ammunition
Note-taking material
A desire to learn and develop your skills
